Although the Holy Spirit can use anybody to communicate His Word to others, which is often the case in churches that have no gifted preacher.

I think Bible students attend where they perceive (right or wrong) success they’d like to emulate – the problem is most likely in their perception of success. I’m still of the opinion that good preachers and/or pastors are only such by a divine call (impulse) as no one of their right mind would desire such a thing.
The body will heed the preaching of Spirit-filled men of the Word – those of the “fellowship of the burning heart” (Tozer) – who listen to & obey the call of the Master more than the scrutiny and critique of man.

1. The culture defines large and small.
2. The Moravians put believers who were ten days old in the Lord into teaching situations, one-on-one.
3. Is there a way for a seasoned pastor who is taking a new pastorate to know the “spiritual climate” of his new parish?
4. Depends on the local church’s need for teaching and on the arrogance level of the Moody students.
Yes, I am still teaching at Moody. This semester is almost over.
